• Our blend is sourced from the finest gardens of north eastern valleys of India from Upper Assam, Siliguri as well as from other north eastern states, consisting of a mix of old plantations and of new ones to attain that unique taste, tang, strength and flavour. The long experience gained since childhood in the tea industry has helped us to maintain a consistent blend quality.
• The Spot Tea Dust Brand is a blend of Dust, PD, CD, OF and BP grades which is ideally suited both for domestic as well as commercial use. Similarly our Spot Tea Leaf Brand is a mix of BOP, BOPSM, BP, OF and Orthodox long leaf grades which gives a unique taste for the discerning tea lovers.

Our relationship with the tea industry started way back in the 1950's and is still running strong for more than 8 decades. Our Grandfather Late Shri Alexander Rayan partnered with three of his friends and established a firm in the name of M/s. Stella Tea Company. One of the most famous brands in the tea industry during that period - 'Double Rose Tea' was created and owned by this erstwhile Partnership Firm. In the year 1958 Late Shri A J Rayan the eldest son of Late Shri Alexander Rayan started M/s Maria Tea Stores and created a new tea brand in the name of 'Spot Tea' in the very same year. Through the years the brand has evolved through various stages and is now manufactured and marketed by M/s Maria & Co., a proprietary concern run by the eldest son of Late Shri A J Rayan and the Grandson of Late Shri Alexander Rayan.
