- : Sidr (Ber)Raw Honey is a medium dark amber coloured honey from apiaries set up where Sidr (Ber) trees abound in the dry desert conditions of Rajasthan and Haryana, India. The flavour is medium sweet, earthy and slightly malty. The viscosity, flavour, fragrance and colour of raw honey is unique to the floral source, the climatic conditions, age of the honey and its composition and may display variations in colour and taste depending on the above mentioned factors
- : The raw honey is extracted from the supers and is strained through a sieve to separate debris and then bottled. You may find tiny specks in your honey and that would be pollen and a tiny bits of honeycomb debris. This is an indication that your honey isn't subjected to filtration or heat.
- : Raw honey crystallises naturally based on its glucose-fructose ratio. It is the glucose in the raw honey that converts to crystals given the right time and external temperature. Honey with high glucose content like Mustard Honey crystallises quickly, and honey with higher fructose content like Acacia Honey doesn't crystallise for a long time. Enjoy your crystallised raw honey as is. If you must soften the honey, keep the jar in warm water.
- : Sidr Raw Honey, known as the Manuka of the East, is prized in traditional medicine. Rich in carbs, amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and flavonoids, it supports heart, lung, nerve, skin, and digestive health. Used for gout, constipation, joint pain, and as an aphrodisiac. Phytonutrients give it strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, protecting cells from damage.
- : Keep your precious jar of honey in a cool, dark place. Use a dry dipper or spoon to scoop the honey and screw the cap back on tight. Do not refrigerate as it can speed up crystallisation. Do not use direct heat on the honey as that will destroy the healthy goodness of raw honey.
